How are there so many custom Starcraft Two maps made already?

I went to the multiplayer area and there were already custom maps out like red circle TD and this one side-scrolling game? How is that possible? It only came out yesterday….

I’m assuming that many of the maps from the BETA got carried over to the actual game. even if the entire database was wiped clean of all the maps, I don’t think it would be difficult to re-upload the maps.
